“Bio-Mechanics Dominate Golf Swing Mechanics” – Ron Gring
No one can swing any better than their golf fitness will allow them to swing. This is why one of our most important diagnostic tools is the Titleist Performance Institute Golf Fitness Evaluation and Workout Program. It is important to understand that regardless of your best intention, bio-mechanically your swing will take the path of least resistance within your individual range of motion.
Our Golf Fitness program will help you improve your swing and your game.
TPI PHYSICAL SCREEN
| Features | Almost always, a golfer will swing in an inefficient pattern due to a set of biomechanical issues not because they intend to. To reveal those problem areas, Gring Golf Performance uses an evaluation designed by the Titleist Performance Institute. This screen is performed on the practice tee or in the gym. First we will take 2D Video of your swing to screen for: • “S” Posture • “C” Posture • Loss of Posture – Flat Shoulder Plane • Loss of Posture-Early Extension • Over the Top • Sway • Slide • Reverse Spine Angle • Hangs Back • Casting • Chicken Winging Then we screen for: • Pelvic Tilt • Pelvic Rotation • Torso Rotation • Overhead Deep Squat • Toe Touch • 90/90 • Single Leg Balance • Lat Length • Lower Quarter Rotation • Seated Trunk • Bridge w/Leg Extension • Reach, Roll and Lift From the results of the screens you will receive a Golf Fitness Handicap and 18 a session workout program designed by Gring Golf Performance and TPI. It is individually designed to begin to correct problem movement patterns that are limiting your precision and making consistency unattainable. The 18 session workout program is exactly that… 18 sessions. After you complete the workouts, we re-screen you to validate your progress and custom design your next 18 workout sessions. Then, re-evaluate after every 18 workouts to track your progress. |

Imagine an avid golfer that loves to practice and is committed to improving his swing. Increased practice sessions come with increased pain, with a new even more destructive sequencing pattern in the swing, followed by even more compensations that pile on top of old compensations. This causes power to dwindle so, more intense muscular effort is required to replace the power loss which also increases the level of pain. At that point, practice must be limited due to pain or injury. In the end, all of his well intentioned effort backfires as the goal of improvement is replaced with the harsh reality of steady deterioration of performance while being more even dedicated to golf swing technique and practice. Depressed yet? Don’t be! There is a way to break this vicious cycle. No matter what combination of problems you may have in your Mobility, Flexibility, Strength, Stability or Compensation for injury, the TPI Golf Evaluation and TPI Golf Fitness Program will bypass the old patterns and accelerate the progress of any player instantly and more permanently than practice alone.
