ABOUT GROUP SESSIONS

Our group sessions are not at all similar to a traditional “Golf School” experience. The one where everyone sits down and is persuaded to try to develop according to the model swing of the golf school. This model dictates what every person should look like and swing like and everyone is required to work on exactly the same swing in the misguided notion that all of the school members will leave the school with the “secret” of the game that is bonded together by some hodgepodge of mysterious feels and language that no one really understands or at the very least, language that can be easily misinterpreted.

In our Group Sessions, each participant moves through diagnostic stations to establish their individual priorities and to develop an individual plan of action. After the evaluation from one station is finished, everyone rotates to the next station until the entire diagnostic evaluation for each player is complete.

After the assessments, for each player in the group, we go into a thorough explanation and demonstration of your plan, to facilitate the implementation of your personal drills, exercises, progressions, equipment recommendations or mental profile. For a group of 6 participants this will take up the entire morning session. After a break for lunch, we venture out to the course to implement the principles involved in lowering your score. Many have called this, “Course Management” or “The Mental Side” and those are certainly parts of it. The main theme of the time spent on the course is to help you to discover the strengths and weaknesses of your game. When they are revealed, we show you how to play to those strengths and play away from your weaknesses.

As with the Individual Sessions, the significance of your plan is not limited to golf swing mechanics, short game, mental/emotional influences, equipment or golf strategy. We will cover all of that and much more. Certainly, you will learn about “The Game” but more significantly, in our group experiences you will learn even more about your game.

Group Programs can also be customized to suit your needs! Call us 877-626-1265 for pricing.
